Lyndi Mirkes
Lyndi has a great level of experience in gymnastics as a gymnast as well as a coach. Lyndi trained at Salto for ten years and then became a fifteen time All-American high school competitor for Brookfield Central. After graduating, Lyndi went to college at UW Oshkosh and graduated with an abundance of titles. Some of these include being a fourteen time All-American gymnast, National beam champion in 1990 as well as earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise and fitness with a minor in Health Education. Throughout college Lyndi worked at the Oshkosh gym center teaching recreational classes and assisting with teams of all levels. After college, was the assistant coach at Bowling Green State University for two years. She also coached & directed at Swiss Turners for three years. Lyndi has coached many gymnasts between levels 4 and 10 who have been individual event state champions. Lyndi and her husband, Kipp, have recently moved back to the area with their two children, Jenna and Nathan. Lyndi is also safety certified by USA gymnastics.
